I couldn't agree more. After the latest "update" I can't help feeling like my phone is destined for the same drawer I keep my beta-max tapes in. (Read: a superior product stifled and under supported as the result of the manufacturers greed and desire to squeeze every penny out of its purchasers and hold a monopoly.) Can't thank apple enough for giving me that one lone button off by itself that just gives me the ability to spend more money with them. Wow, what a great enhancement. Thanks so much! Make sure you keep it in Cupertino boys! We certainly don’t want too many people making the switch to Apple products. I swear, I’m really not as bitter as I seem. I’ve been here before. I’ll get over it. I always do. In fact I look back fondly on my Newton, or there was that time I went and bought osX and it wouldn’t run on my B&W G3 until I bought 10.1. Ah Apple computer……. Why do the good girls always like the bad boys?

nope. Its too soon. Apple should take the time to provide a family of basic stable apps before opening the market, it will be better for the evolution of the phone. When crappy third party apps dissapoint, it will reflect poorly of the iPhone in general. Apple has to control everything while it transitions to being the standard in mobile tech. Be patient! The time will come. Remember, its microsoft that's stupid, not apple. They are doing the smartest thing.
