Design

The SPE Metal Cover weighs in at a mere .09oz so it certainly doesn’t add much weight to your iPhone. The SPE Metal Cover is has a beautiful shiny and reflective finish. I bought the pink version and it’s just gorgeous and looks great on my iPhone. It has the Smartphone Experts logo on the front in gray which looks very nice.

The back of the cover is lined with a soft black neoprene which won’t scratch your screen or the back of your iPhone.

The sides of the cover have rubber grips that are no-slip and helps you to keep a tight grip on your precious iPhone.

Usability

I love using the SPE Metal Cover. The cover is so lightweight and simple to use. You just slide your iPhone down inside the cover. The sides have grippable rubber on the inside that keeps your iPhone in place without scuffing up the sides of your device.

You can put the cover on your iPhone with your iPhone facing in or out. I usually put the cover over the front of my iPhone in order to protect that big beautiful screen. When I’m talking on the phone, I put the cover on the back of the iPhone. Those rubber grips on the sides are great since the iPhone has such slick sides, making it easy to drop.

I don’t usually put any of my gadgets in my pockets but I have found myself doing so with my iPhone since I got the SPE Metal Cover. I know that my iPhone is well protected with this cover. I have no problem sliding my iPhone into the front pocket of my jeans. And the iPhone is so thin that you can hardly tell it’s in your pocket. And the cover is so thin and lightweight that it doesn’t add much bulk at all.

Of course a metal this shiny does pick up fingerprints quite easily. I just try to keep the cover wiped down as much as possible.

Conclusion

A lot of people have asked about the SPE Metal Cover and they love the pink color. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. Heck, what’s not to like? It’s great!
