Hi, I should point out something you got wrong in the article:

The exclusive way to distribute apps is not itunes, ,even though it can distribute apps. The Primary way that apps will be distributed will be through the App Store, which is an iPhone Native application and all downloads will be tansfered wirelessly over wi-fi or cell network. This is awesome because it means you can download an app you want no matter where you are. Its awesome!

That's not a political decision, it's a technical one. iPhone apps are developed in Apple's own native development environment, Xcode, with all its plumbing parts (i.e. Cocoa, Core This, Core That, and so on). Apple would have to port its entire codebase to Microsoft's inferior Win32 environment (with Visual Basic), and that's simply not possible.

Your logic is flawed. Why not force Microsoft to port Visual Studio to OSX? Sauce for the goose.

how funny microsoft allows apple to work with exchange but apple does not allow the apps to be created on a microsoft platform.

With both apple and microsoft working together I hope I stop seeing those STUPID! Mac commercials.

You forgot about sega's game which I think maybe was the best of the bunch.

I haven't been this excited about a gadget since well the iPhone came out last year. This will for sure put the iPhone clearly over the top.
