Used my iPhone.. turned off "roaming" and "3G" until I made a call. I still wound up with a $300+ phone bill in addition to my regular phone charges for the month. The mistake I made? Make sure after your call that you hang up .. double check. For some reason the call hangs on.. make sure you disconnect. My phone stayed on even after I hit "end call".. My charges went accordingly.
