Source? How soon? System-wide? A 600kbs EDGE connection would be adequate for most needs short of streaming video, and I’m sure less expensive than full on 3g (if you leave it up to AT&T).

It even makes some sort of sense to have the next gen hardware out before the SDK comes out of beta.
