&lt;p&gt;He was a real jerk.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Also had friends at P.A.Semi, but they quit awhile ago.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I worked at Exponential (the mid-1990&#039;s powerpc startup that apple invested in). I am sad that P.A.Semi ended up better than did Exp.  Ah, well.&lt;/p&gt;
