The iPhone Blog Week in Review for December 01, 2008
Every week I will be bringing you what I think are the week’s biggest stories and articles. Let’s get started, after the break!
Is your iPhone 3G feeling… slow?
Well, it has come to light that the 2nd generation of Apple’s iPod Touch is faster than the iPhone? At first that might not seem like a big deal, but it means that potentially, developers will have to work harder to ensure that apps run properly on both platforms.
If you are looking for a good alternative to just carrying around an iPhone in your pocket with no protection, try the Naked Case. It covers your iPhone on all sides (even the screen, but it is still useable with the case on). It is available in a few different colors to suite your mood.
Did you score anything good? I was tempted by the $21 off an iPod Touch… but then sanity came back…. oh, and my wife said no way; that could be part of why I didn’t buy one
Did anyone buy apps this weekend… I did! There are a few of them listed here, check out the list, some are still on sale!
We have a new bi-weekly podcast for discussing the focused topics, in about an hour (yeah, kinda sounds like an oil change ad, doesn’t it?) Anyway, check it out if you haven’t had a listen yet!

Oh who knows. Their catalog was supposed to be available by the end of 2008. Do you think it will make it?
Ah, 2.2 is barely out the door and we have some Russian site telling us that there will be Notes push and synchronization. My bet is no. They still have work to do on Calendar and Address Book…
Brian has a great tip of the week on how to save and manage your batter power. Read on for more info!
