Simpsons, eh? Apple Will Remember that Name!

Steve Jobs is likely set to unleash the hounds on Fox’s The Simpsons TV show, after they thoroughly lampooned the iPhone and all things Apple on last night’s episode. Check out both videos after the break. (Via Gizmodo)

Wow that was really funny and true at the same time. As much as Apple would prefer to deny it, they do sometimes act like they are superior to other manufacturers. Still, I believe Apple is a great company and will continue to purchase their products as long as they continue to build quality hardware and pump out quality software.

definitely one of the funniest Simpsons episodes in a while. The parody was sheer genius and it got me thinking that maybe even jobs had a part/welcomed the idea because the length of the parody definitely confirms the power of Apple and their products. Not to mention that an Apple ad was in between every commercial break. Great episode

  12. Steve Says:

You’d have to be an Apple consumer and Apple fan to have written those bits. The Microsoft crowd just isn’t that clever or creative.

  13. Dimietriev Says:

Glad I watched and even more glad that there is video of it for all the replay glory.

  14. Jozsoo Says:

Perfect! There’s even a 1984 Orwellian Introducing Macintosh ad reference in it.

  16. frog Says:

    I enjoyed it.

  17. The Reptile Says:

That was priceless! The only thing bad about it was that there was no Surgeon General’s warning to wear Depends before viewing because you’re going to wet yourself if you watch it. They pretty much nailed the Apple culture, product successes (iPod, iPhone, Mac, ads, SteveNotes, store) and failures (cube, initial iPhone bills - an AT&T failure, product cost and some over-the-top fans). How long before Apple uses parts of it in a new ad?

  18. Steve Says:

Apple should hire them to do a Simpson’s-style commercial with PC Guy vs. Mac Guy… like they did with the Christmas stop-motion characters a couple of years ago.

  19. Glenn Says:

    Veryyy funny episode

  20. Tunnelrunner Says:

2 thumbs up. That was frickin’ hilarious. I agree with Steve that there’s got to be at least one iPhone/Apple user among the SIMPSONS writers…
