The app is ok. Would be better with smarter "time to make" categories and the ability to search the entire AllRecipes database by title or ingredient.

That said, I mad a gumbo that the spinner suggested and it was quite good.

Bread made from/with vegetables is not a very obscure category actually. There's zucchini bread, potato bread, onion bread and cornbread. And that's just off the top of my head.

On topic, I've been using this app for a few months, and it's got some good recipes in it. I made a lentil pilaf with turkey meatballs, and I didn't think it was going to turn out well, but it was delicious! Highly recommended.

Actually you can “lock in” a category by simply lining up the desired category and then highlight the you selection by clicking on it. Then when you spin the highlighted category stays put!!!
