iPhone Celebrity Sightings… er… Twitter’ings: Ashton and Demi Edition
The continuing evolution of Twitter as a mainstream celebrity interactive communication platform powered by Apple’s revolutionary internet device, the iPhone 3G, and awesome client side apps Twitterfon and Tweetie, or the end of all things geeky-fringe and techno-pure? Or just a cheap excuse for us to link-bait some celebrities (who are not Stephen Fry) using iPhone’s and tweeting on Superbowl Sunday?
Yes!
Does it matter to us if celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore use the iPhone? Do we care if they increasingly make their presence felt on Twitter? And does their choice of iPhone Twitter client influence our own preference? And either way, what does it tell us about the iPhone, Twitter, and the celebrities who choose to use them? (You can answer below, or on Twitter from your favorite iPhone client for extra irony points!)

Awesome. One would think they were some life-less people “playing” to be them.

I have been following them from the beginning. They have a lot of fun. Mrskutcher is a twitterholic! She got Punky Brewster on it and SHE is addicted as well. It’s all fun and kinda cute really. Who needs gossip columnists and paparrazzi when u get the straight stuff from the people themselves. I hope the gossip and Papp industry fades away anyway.

Did I accidentally stumble into the tmz site ?.
I would prefer if celebrities didn’t have the iPhone I would prefer it if they all just faded away and stopped being such attention whores. Just do their job supply us with entertainment as far as their personal life I could care less most are numb skulls anybody interested in their lives has popcorn for brains and needs to evaluate themselves. @ infoliberation- Celebrities call the paps and let them know where they are they love them ! Therefor you should too since you love celebs so much.

Hmmm… Michael R seams kinda bitter. I didn’t know Ashton and Demi had twitter accounts. The only “celebrity” I follow now is Britney Spears. I’ll probably start following these two now.

I’m not with any of you downers. I’m not like a celebrity following freak but at the end of the day it’s still kinda cool to see what they are twittering.
