Can’t watch on a late 2008 MacBook pro. What’s the deal. Is it my quicktme settings? It just shows a back and forth status bar like knight rider.

It was nice to be able to skip over the EA, and gaming, and Smule nonsense. In fact, some of the stuff that I thought was pretty dull and boring during the live meta-blog seemed a slight bit more coherent and interesting after seeing it demonstrated in the video.

Strange that five Apple apps (Calendar, Notes, Contacts, iPod, and Mail) have Spotlight search… but not Maps (Recents and Bookmarks), Safari bookmarks, and Photos.

Good stuff. After watching the video it’s pretty clear that this platform is beginning to fulfill its promise. I’m really looking forward to seeing what’s in the rest of the release.
