This is very cool and I sure can’t wait for a product that does something like this… but is this video not hilarious because the guy is SUCH a geek?! I mean, if you look up “geek” in the dictionary, I’m pretty sure his picture will be in there. Good on him – Respect and all that, for choosing to spend his Saturdays on that…

A thought, why not strap the iphone to the bottom of an rc plane, get the iphone to use the gps + acellerometer + wify to control the plane, and the G3 network to send commands and receive situation updates and photos.
Doesn’t all the hardware and alot of the api exists in side of an iphone allready, just like the paparazzi project does now http://paparazzi.enac.fr/wiki/Main_Page
