This inability to produce simple old technology mms software is a hoax, and has always made Apple look stupid ever since the iPhone came out. You got this $400 phone that can do almost anything EXCEPT text a picture? They should have figured this out years ago and look like idiots when they say they can’t figure it out. I’m all for upgrading, waiting for 4G, but for those who bought first, it is a true let down no matter how you look at it. BTW my wife’s 3G is a piece of **** and she constantly has to use mine, we have had dozens of problems and the 3.1.2 hasn’t fixed them all.

I think if apple was smart from the beginning and them thinkin they are one of the best. There are a lot of things that came as software updates we should have seen on the first gen phone. U cannot tell me that on the iphone we shouldnt have had mms from the beginning or even the copy and paste. N if im not wrong turning the txt messeging sideways should came out within the first few months. The biggest thing for them was in safari we can turn it sideways. Ok not everything should have came right away wit the phone but atleast shoulda been out in the first few phones. MMS especially should be the first things to consider. That is wat almost every single person has used wit the phones before. The way to come out with a phone is have wat other phones have plus. The iphone is a good phone but half not all this stuff shoulda came out wit the first gen phone

oh yeah the 3gs doesnt even get the f’in 3g network through at&t on my girlfriends iphone!! Is verizon better? Guess we will find out soon enough

Totally agree Casey! We paid the price full up front on our original Iphones and now they screw us! I don’t plan on upgrading to a 3G or 3Gs. All this does is make me fed up with Apple and AT&T both. I get service drops at work to an ‘o’ and have to do a hard reboot to get it go back to ‘E’ and now this. What BS! I spent 600 bucks on a phone that neither company is supporting due to really veiled sales gimmick. Drop service and support and upgrade?! I don’t effing think so! If the service and support and features are there than i would upgrade based on the speed which is the only real difference between my phone and the 3g versions (processor speed and connect speed) I feel insulted by Apple!

The reason 1g owners are upset is because they paid 500 f*****g dollars for their phones! Now everyone in the f*****g free world has an iPhone because they are like $100. So yes I am pissed that I can’t get a mms update for my phone and I WON’T be buying a 3g for this.

It’s all about the money. I am not an iPhone owner my best friend has the 1G and she already paid 300 dollars for her phone when it was new. So they want her to buy the newest one when it is only a software change. Interesting.

I think it’s really unfair. I am considering purchasing a different phone. Apple just keeps trying to get folks to upgrade to their new phone and we just keep giving in. Stop the madness!!!!

I think there stupid. Apple and AT&T left a bad taste in my mouth. We should be able to send MMS and allthe other features. I have a mac computer and it updates fine and I bought my 1G iPhone when it first came out and I spent a bunch of money on this phone not to mention it’s my 2nd iPhone. I think we spent a shitload of money on this phone and we should the fetures that an iPhone 3G os should have.
