Two questions:

Will Apple pay for tests? i.e. some discounts in the developer program fees would be nice.

For anyone wanting to get it outside the UK etc just create a US itunes account which is fairly easy if you do a quick google search, and it also syncs to your iPhone too whilst keeping the original UK authorized apps.

You’re exactly right Justin. Apple is only testing their service. They are using American developers and iPhone simply because there are more American developers. Whether they test it in English, Chinese, Spanish or whatever is irrelevant, they are merely testing the service. If you aren’t helping out with this test, the only thing you are missing out on are sample pushes from the AP app, who cares!

Just read on MR forums that UK devs were sent the email, but couldn’t use the code. That’s pretty silly, why send the email to all devs if they only want to test in US now?

@Justin why let people know about it that can’t test it if it’s only available for Americans… they don’t even love us Canadians
