Your never going to see a CDMA version of the iPhone for the reason that network is outdated and it’s reallg limited to the U.S most networks are GSM which is used by 95% of the world plus Verizon isn’t installing App store suck as blackberry’s app world or any others due to the fact that verizon made one so that means verizon would want control of the software for the iPhone and do you honeslty think Apple well go for that lol I think Not

i dont find it to be that big a deal but that feature would make it that much cooler for a small fee or someone will hack it anyway

I have yet to use tethering even though it is available to me. Maybe if I am ever in an airport, but usually I am just checking something quick and I can do it on my phone.

Here in Canada, we’re not being charged extra to use Tethering. We use our Data plan, the only limitation is you need to have at least a 1 GB data plan.

I personally think an addition to the built in camera app should have the ability to choose the size(pixels) of your pic. In the photo app the abilty to make your on folders to sort out the mess that is the camera roll.

EVERYreason why NOT to upgrade to this LAME 3.1. especially if you own a 3G. seems like most of the new feats are designed for the 3GS anyway…

They're going to have to be very careful about this if they 'fix' it.

I'm personally on a data plan who wholesales 3G data plans off another provider, who is also currently negotiating tethering plans. If they lock out these profiles it may effect other (legitimate) users on the same network.

This is not uncommon in Australia and I would imagine elsewhere in the world.

Teathering DOES work! It has yet to be resolved. If you go to help.benm.at from your iPhone you can install the teathering profile.
