New iPhone Ad Has Apps for That Avid Sports Fan with Golfshot GPS, MLB at Bat, TouchSports Tennis
Apple has begun airing another in their long line of “App for That” iPhone ads, this time with “Avid”, targeting sports fans. The ad shows off:
- Golfshot GPS [$29.99 - iTunes link]
- MLB at Bat 2009 [$9.99 - iTunes link]
- TouchSports Tennis 2009 [$0.99 - iTunes link]
Apple typically releases these spots in batches, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more, and if you see any, let us know.
(Mac fans can also check out the new Get a Mac ads, one of which just might “tick” people off — haha!)

What about a NFL app like MLB at bat? An app where a person can watch live games. I am really hoping this app comes out before the start of football season.

You couldn’t have hit the nail on the head any more Rene. God that makes me “ticked” off. Ha but it’s all in sake of converting people to the [mind controlling watching your every move somewhat overly priced but in a sense worth it in the long run and quality] operating system that works more nicely and smoothly than windows. Mac OSX.

that golfshot app is sweet. tried it based on the ad and it really is awesome. there are some others but if you are looking for one i think this one is the best (www.criticalgolf.com agrees also).

I am very interested in the Golf App although the price seems a little steep. I guess if enough people are saying its worthwhile then it may be worth looking into.
