UPDATED: iPhone Twitter App TweetDeck Went Missing, Will be Back Soon
UPDATE: And… it’s back with version 1.1.1 [Free - iTunes link]
ORIGINAL: Most of our readers love their Twitter, and to some of you who happened to be searching for the TweetDeck app within the App Store, you may have been a bit surprised and disappointed to see that it seemed to simply disappear without a trace.
So what exactly happened to TweetDeck? This past Friday TweetDeck version 1.1 was released and it seems as if some of the kinks were never worked out of it before it was submitted to Apple. Namely constant crashing – Oops… So the decision was then made to pull the app before the problem became widespread.
We are happy to spread the word that the app has since been fixed and resubmitted to Apple with version 1.1.1.

In this day and age you would think they would test these things properly before releasing them to the general public.

I KNOW!! i found this out at 1am this morning!! very sad!! Couldn’t they just have left the previous version in the app store though?!

Same thing happened with the recent: RSS Player 2.0 That one also got pulled from the store due to an error when installing the app. After that they pulled the 2.0 version and also the older version that worked… this is now been going on from november 1st.

@oops give them a break there is a slight difference between maybe 10 beta testers and 1000s oof users, as it’s been reported not everyone is getting the crash

I use this app a lot as it works well for multiple accounts. The current version is a bit buggy, so it will be nice to have this update.

Tweetdeck has never crashed on me, I’m not a heavy user either but I do a few searches almost everyday.

I installed their update last week, it kept crashed I deleted it and went to the app store to re download it and it was gone, good thing the old version was still on my pc

Ok, I was beginning to think it was my new phone!!! I did what Dionte did, but again it stopped working (friends timeline would not refresh) so I am going to try out either Twitterific or something close. Big disappointment because I LOVED Tweetdeck on my PC.
