It fixed everything for me. Someone else I know though is still having problems seeing posts added in threads. Says 12 posts click on it to read and it’s still empty. This has so far been fixed for me.

Anyone know why some videos play on iPhone FB and others say it’s not possible to play videos?
Another related ?…anyone have SLOW connection speeds when using Youtube over WiFi? My YouTube is faster over 3G?
Thanks.

Ever since I downloaded this update i’ve been trying to pinch one off to no avail. Also thought there was a wicked tonne of updates happening after seeing (not reading) the list. Alas.

The update keeps happening over and over. Is it just me or is there someone else who can’t get the update right?

It’s mainly bug fixes. Software comes out people find bugs and they release bug fixes.

While this update does fix a bunch of bugs for me, it seems to have broken the ability to post photos to facebook pages that I admin. If you attempt to do this it simply ads them to your personal profile mobile upload album. Fix bugs, create more.

Everyone needs to update their review to one star, and simply “Where’s Push!?” as the content.
November 13th, 2009 at 11:31 pm
@elric I was gonna say the same thing. Smh. That’s why I don’t use my facebook anymore.
November 13th, 2009 at 11:38 pm

Various feature both in the new 3.03 and the previous version still don’t work for me. I get the message, “Connection error, unable to load your request” when view the requests section or inbox for example. Te news feed works fine however. Can anyone tell me whether this might be related to my using a proxy to connect?

It says you can upload a video to facebook from a 3gs BUT how do you do it?

This update did next to nothing. The CHAT is STILL broken after like 3 updates… is it to much to ask for a WORKING chat? The app CRASHES every other time you post comments or make status updates… You are only told you have TWO notifications when you may really have 10. VIDEO STILL does not work. The “Landsca

hmm well I must have some amazing luck since before and after the update my facebook app works flawlessly in everything I use in it. Only bug i ever had was being logged out once randomly while I still had wifi and that’s it.

I still can’t post pictures to my friends pages

I thought that they in this version would add the “clear status” option. But NO.

@Jrz5
In general, videos which are link from other sites (YouTube) will play on the Facebook app, while uploaded videos from users’ computers and mobile devices will not.
Sometimes linked videos won’t play either, but I think that’s a problem with the videos themselves because those usually won’t play on the Facebook site either.

For those of you that want push, have you tried Boxcar? I’m now using it to get push notifications from Facebook as it’s free (unless you’re already using it for Twitter push but the cost of adding Facebook is minimal).
I had hoped that this was the push update and was disappointed to find the usual “bug fixes”.

To those who moan about chat is it really that important? I personally dont want people popping up all the time while im out and about.

Does the update replace the Live Feed with the News Feed, or can you access both?
I’m hesitant to update because when I go to the Facebook Mobile site, I’ve never been able to fine the Live Feed, which is what I prefer.

@Skotjay:
It looks to me as if what is called ‘News Feed’ on the app is actually the Live Feed… with no way of switching it. It doesn’t appear to be filtered that I can see.

Push?
November 14th, 2009 at 8:33 pm
Joe already said that 3.0.3 wouldn’t have it but it was coming for 3.1. So next update. And this one didn’t take anywhere as long as the last one.
November 14th, 2009 at 9:36 pm
The Chat feature still NOT working for me, and I was really hoping to get “push” with this update

I had previously been experiencing a bug in which all of my events appeared three hours off (only in facebook, and only on my iphone) I just checked and the times seem to be corrected, so I’m crossing my fingers that things will stay that way.
