
So now we know how iPhone will handle RSS, and as we feared it’s through Safari. Apple has developed RSS viewing through a Safari-based web app (reader.mac.com). However, iPhone should be able to support my favorite RSS solutions; Google Reader. Can’t wait to try that out.

The folks at 101 Cookbooks have developed an iPhone-friendly versions of their website to better accommodate its native screen resolution (HVGA). Don’t ask me why they thought it necessary given that Safari already enables full web browsing, negating the need for such “mobile web” content. Buy hey, who am I to argue.

Fifteen days to go before iPhone officially launches, and already web apps are popping up like ragweed in my backyard. This interesting concept is called iTweetr, which acts as a web-based Twitter client accessible through Safari. It works under Firefox too.
