<h2>Rene&#8217;s Picks</h2>

<ul>
<li><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/iskin-solo-fx/4A54A5756.htm">iSkin solo FX</a> is just crazy cool. Semi-translucent soft, non-slip case that shows your iPhone (and Apple logo), and adds a screen protector that&#8217;s see-through from the front when the iPhone is on, but mirror-like from an angle or when the iPhone is off. Comes in green, purple, blue, red, and orange. Depending on your iPhone color (black or white) you can get some fantastic looking tones and textures.</li>
<li><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/plantronics-voyager-pro-bluetooth-headset/9A32A5425.htm">Plantronics Voyager PRO Bluetooth Headset</a> is just so Galactica. I know I&#8217;ve said that before, and I&#8217;ve said that thanks to my grappling-ground ears, this is the only Bluetooth headset that&#8217;s I&#8217;ve used, that&#8217;s actually stayed in place, for more than a short time. It&#8217;s big, sure, but most of it is tucked behind your ear, and the boom mic provides for great sound, and &#8212; yup &#8212; a look straight out of Sci-Fi (or maybe SWAT). </li>
</ul>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5756.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5756-200x200.jpg" alt="5756" title="5756" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15215" /></a><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5425.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5425-200x200.jpg" alt="5425" title="5425" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15216" /></a><br clear="all" /></p>

<h2>Dieter&#8217;s Picks</h2>

<ul>
<li><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/xgear-stylus/4A123A5778.htm">XGear Stylus</a> is a hard case with a unique, ribbed design. No slip = win. It comes with mirror films and a microfiber cleaning cloth. Also red, white, and black. </li>
<li><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/motorola-h17-bluetooth-headset/9A32A6020.htm">Motorola H17 Bluetooth Headset</a>. I love it because it&#8217;s tiny,
charges lightning quick, has great sound quality on the listening end because of Moto&#8217;s Crystal Talk Technology, has great sound quality on the sound end because of the dual-microphone design. Most of all, though, I love it because of the flip out boom that turns the headset
OFF when I&#8217;m not using it.</li>
</ul>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5778.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5778-200x200.jpg" alt="5778" title="5778" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15218" /></a><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/60201.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/60201-200x200.jpg" alt="6020" title="6020" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15219" /></a><br clear="all" /></p>

<h2>Chad&#8217;s Picks</h2>

<ul>
<li><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/smartphone-experts-sidepouch/4A120A2309.htm">Smartphone Experts SidePouch</a>. If a side pouch is your thing (like it is me) you will like the style and value of the Smartphone Experts Side Pouch for the iPhone 3G and 3GS. Light and durable, this is a great addtion to your case collection; not to mention there is a color-combo to suit your liking! </li>
<li><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/blueant-s1-sun-visor-bluetooth-car-kit-with-multipoint/3A64A5643.htm">Blueant S1 Sun Visor Bluetooth Car Kit with Multipoint</a>. If you have been in the market for a hands-free solution for your iPhone and car, this is it! I love this bluetooth speaker. It works great with the iPhone 3GS Voice Control and sounds great. </li>
</ul>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/2309.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/2309-200x200.jpg" alt="2309" title="2309" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15223" /></a><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5643.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5643-200x200.jpg" alt="5643" title="5643" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15222" /></a><br clear="all" /></p>

<h2>Chris&#8217; Pick</h2>

<p><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/incipio-silicrylic-silicone-crystal-case/4A54A4028.htm">Incipio SILICRYLIC Silicone Crystal Case</a> has to be my favorite accessory. I have dropped the iPhone a few times, and the case has saved it. Well worth the money, and it looks pretty good as well.
<a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/4028.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/4028-200x200.jpg" alt="4028" title="4028" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15304" /></a><br clear="all" /></p>

<h2>James&#8217; Picks</h2>

<ul>
<li><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/mophie-juice-pack-air/8A171A5566.htm">mophie Juice Pack air.</a> A few months ago, this was my Pick of the Week. It is still the case I use. Like most iPhone owners, I chew through the battery very quickly. With all of the apps, data, music and video available to me, I seem to always be needing a fresh charge. The Mophie Juice Pack Air is exactly the case I have needed. It does not add too much thickness or heaviness to my iPhone 3GS and holds a full charge when I need it. I have recommended it to family and friends and all who have purchased will echo my sentiments. A must buy for the heavy user!</li>
<li><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/plantronics-discovery-925-bluetooth-headset/9A32A3715.htm">Plantronics Discovery 925 Bluetooth Headset.</a> I have tried many bluetooth headsets over the years and have found one nagging issue. No, it&#8217;s not sound quality. Rather, I have not found a headset that will stay in my ear without using an over-the-ear clip. The Platronics Discovery 925 is the first headset that I have tried taht will fit in my ear without any other assistance. Also, the sound quality is great and I have not had any complaints on my voice quality.</li>
</ul>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5566.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5566-200x200.jpg" alt="5566" title="5566" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15228" /></a><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/3715.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/3715-200x200.jpg" alt="3715" title="3715" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15227" /></a><br clear="all" /></p>

<h2>Jeremy&#8217;s Picks</h2>

<ul>
<li><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/marware-ceo-premiere/4A120A3800.htm">Marware C.E.O. Premiere</a> has the classic horizontal holster case design that covers your iPhone in a textured, soft leather with quality stitching and an ultra-slim non-removable belt clip. The interior of the case is made up of microfiber cloth which is a welcomed addition that promises not to scratch your device while it is in use. Also it&#8217;s doubling as my Droid case. <img src='http://www.theiphoneblog.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </li>
<li><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/blueant-q1-voice-controlled-bluetooth-headset/9A32A5424.htm">Blueant Q1 Voice Controlled Bluetooth Headset</a> is an excellent, top quality headset that should not be passed up if you are in the market for a top of the line piece of technology. Buy it now!</li>
</ul>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/3800.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/3800-200x200.jpg" alt="3800" title="3800" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15300" /></a><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5424.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5424-200x200.jpg" alt="5424" title="5424" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15301" /></a><br clear="all" /></p>

<h2>Leanna&#8217;s Pick</h2>

<p><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/iskin-solo-fx/4A54A5756.htm">iSkin Solo FX</a>. For a case that&#8217;s both fashionable and of high quality, look no further than the iSkin Solo FX. I use this case regularly for it&#8217;s looks and protection. It has a snug fit yet doesn&#8217;t scratch my precious iPhone, feels great in my hand, and looks amazing! One of these days I will own all 4 colors <img src='http://www.theiphoneblog.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5756.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/5756-200x200.jpg" alt="5756" title="5756" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15215" /></a><br clear="all" /></p>

<h2>Matt&#8217;s Pick</h2>

<p><a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/otterbox-defender-series/4A104A4082.htm">Otterbox Defender</a> is absolutely my favorite case, no doubt the best that I have come across! While this case is a bit more expensive than other iPhone
cases, it is definitely worth it. The case nearly seals your iPhone within itself, leaving open only the necessary holes to allow speaker usage. I have put this case through quite a bit, from dropping it off the side of a cliff into sand, to spilling coke on it, to dropping it more than anyone should consider healthy for an iPhone and, still, it has defended it. If you have had issues with keeping an iPhone okay then this is probably the case for you.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/4082.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/4082-200x200.jpg" alt="4082" title="4082" width="200" height="200" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-15302" /></a><br clear="all" /></p>

<h2>Your Recommendations?</h2>

<p>What did we miss? Any must-have accessories? What does your secret gift&#8217;er need to wrap up for you this year? What are you telling Papa Jobs you <em>really</em> want left under your iPhone? We only started this list; didn&#8217;t even check it twice! Check out the <a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/">TiPb iPhone Accessory store</a> and drop some ideas in the comments, would ya? Make sure we get this right!</p>

<p>Every week a few of us from team TiPb, bloggers and forum crew alike, will bring you our current favorite, funnest, most useful App Store apps, WebApps, jailbreak apps, even the occasional accessory, web site, or desktop app if the mood strikes us. As long as they&#8217;re iPhone (or iPod touch) related, they&#8217;re fair game.</p>

<p>So who&#8217;s on deck this week and what are our picks? Find out after the break!</p>

<p><span id="more-15161"></span></p>

<h3>Chad&#8217;s Pick: Eliminate Pro</h3>

<p>This week&#8217;s has to be Eliminate Pro by ngmoco:) The iPhone community has been yearning for a solid FPS for a while and ngmoco:) delivers. There is debate as to how the energy system works, but at the end of the day, Eliminate is free and you can frag with your friends over 3G and Wi-Fi. What more could you want? [Free + in-app purchase - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/eliminate-pro/id318760264?mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/IMG_0566.JPG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/IMG_0566-200x200.jpg" alt="Eliminate Pro" title="Eliminate Pro" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-15166" /></a></p>

<h3>Chris&#8217; Pick: iMac (Late 2009)</h3>

<p>My pick of the week is the new iMac. <a href="http://forum.theiphoneblog.com/cross-platform-other-gadgets/180473-new-imac-go-my-macbook-pro.html">We just got one for my wife</a>, and the added functionality combined with the iPhone is great. Adding in the MobileMe account, my wife is ecstatic with the iMac/iPhone combo, and I have to admit I am more than a little jealous. [$1,999.00+ - <a href="http://www.apple.com/imac/">Web link</a>]</p>

<p>[<a href="http://forum.theiphoneblog.com/cross-platform-other-gadgets/181226-27-imac-mac-pro-display.html">I got one as well</a>. Phenomenal. - RR]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/overview_hero1_20091020.png"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/overview_hero1_20091020-200x200.png" alt="iMac (Late 2009)" title="iMac (Late 2009)" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-15164" /></a></p>

<h3>James&#8217; Pick: AppleTV 3.0</h3>

<p>When Apple announced the iTunes LP and movies extras, I hoped the functionality would be rolled out to AppleTV and the iPhone. With <a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/2009/10/31/apple-tv-30-impressions-screenshot-gallery/">AppleTV 3.0</a>, it has. The previous 2.0 OS was getting a little long in the tooth, so having a fresh UI and some new features has breathed some new life in Apple&#8217;s &#8220;hobby&#8221;.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/Screen-shot-2009-10-29-at-4.10.04-PM.png"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/Screen-shot-2009-10-29-at-4.10.04-PM-200x200.png" alt="Apple TV 3.0" title="Apple TV 3.0" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-14208" /></a></p>

<h3>Leanna&#8217;s Pick: Touch Pets Dogs</h3>

<p>Touch Pets Dogs is absolutely adorable and my new addiction. The idea behind this game is that you have one or more virtual puppies that you must take care of by feeding, playing, training, etc. Touch Pets Dogs is very creatively made and your puppies respond great to your gestures. Want to pet your puppy? No problem, just rub your finger on his little body and he&#8217;ll respond by pushing his neck toward you just like a real dog would. This game has a similar feel to The Sims in that your puppies have various attributes you must keep up or else your puppy will get sad. Touch Pets Dogs also runs live, so if you go too long without playing with your puppy, you will receive a push notification telling you that you have a sad puppy! Touch Pets Dogs also uses the Plus+ network to meet other puppies, go on play dates, and possibly find a love interest for you puppy! If you pick this one up, look up llofte and meet my puppies! [Free/1 bowl of food - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/touch-pets-dogs/id334475268?mt=8">iTunes link</a>, $0.99/10 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/touch-pets-dogs-10-food/id334476989?mt=8">iTunes link</a>, $1.99/20 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/touch-pets-dogs-20-food/id334479535?mt=8">iTunes link</a>, $9.99/120 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/touch-pets-dogs-120-food/id334480601?mt=8">iTunes link</a>, $29.99/400 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/touch-pets-dogs-400-food/id334481814?mt=8">iTunes links</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/IMG_2003.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/IMG_2003-200x200.PNG" alt="Touch Pets Dogs" title="Touch Pets Dogs" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-15162" /></a></p>

<h3>Matt&#8217;s Pick: Trip Cubby</h3>

<p>I recently began a new job for a production company and found myself driving all over Texas for commercial shoots. I soon realized that I needed an app to keep track of my trips. While I sifted through several apps, I finally came across Trip Cubby and haven&#8217;t looked back. Trip Cubby has a nice and easy workflow for entering data. It remembers recent locations, your last mileage entry, displays graphs, exports as CSV attachment and even has an online sync. If you are one of those people that need to keep track of mileage for deduction reasons, then this app is for you! [$6.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/id286751428?mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/11/IMG_0785-200x200.PNG" alt="Trip Cubby" title="Trip Cubby" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-15183" /></p>

<h3>Rene&#8217;s Pick: Astonishing X-Men Motion Comic</h3>

<p>Joss Whedon didn&#8217;t bring his A game to Dollhouse, not the way he did with Buffy, Angel, or Firefly. For Astonishing X-Men, assisted by the amazing art of John Cassaday and the gorgeous (and uncredited!) colors of Laura Martin, he brought the A+. It was simply the best X-Men I&#8217;ve read since the original Phoenix Saga (yes, I&#8217;m that old). If you didn&#8217;t catch the comics, trades, or omnibus, Neil Adams&#8217; company and Marvel Studios have brought it &#8212; at least the first chapter of it, <em>Gifted</em> &#8212; to Motion Comics life. 2 episodes of 6 are available now. I hope they do all 24 + the Giant Sized conclusion. Grab it from iTunes, sync it to your iPhone. Watch it now. With beer. [$10.99 Season Pass - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewTVSeason?id=332750119&#038;s=143455">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><span id="more-13607"></span></p>

<h3>Chad&#8217;s Pick: Bento</h3>

<p>This week I am picking the Bento app from FileMaker. There are several apps out there that can keep track of passwords and other data. What is nice about Bento is that you can make these databases yourself! You can edit fields, make lists and choose data types. If you own Bento for Mac, you can sync the data between apps! For $4.99, Bento is a great value for simple database creation. [$4.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=314638461&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0475.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0475-200x200.PNG" alt="Bento" title="Bento" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13611" /></a></p>

<h3>Chris&#8217; Pick: Bed Bugs</h3>

<p>Bed Bugs is a fun, quick paced pseudo-shooting game (for some reason it reminds me of Space Invaders). In the game, you try to keep your sleeper asleep by shooting the various monsters that try to wake him up. Different monsters have different weaknesses (when you can &#8220;shoot&#8221; them, for example). Succeed and your sleeper gets a good night sleep. [$1.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=315613006&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0593.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0593-200x200.PNG" alt="IMG_0593" title="IMG_0593" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13609" /></a></p>

<h3>Jeremy&#8217;s Pick: The North Face Snow Report</h3>

<p>Snowboard/Ski season is fast approaching so my pick is the Snow Report. It&#8217;s free and you get a slick user interface, detailed information on any resort you select, trail maps, built in Twitter support, etc&#8230; Nifty little app that anyone interested in skiing or snowboarding should pick up.[$Free - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=297613771&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/photo12.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/photo12-200x200.jpg" alt="North Face Snow Report" title="North Face Snow Report" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13608" /></a></p>

<h3>Matt&#8217;s Pick: RedLaser</h3>

<p>RedLaser is created by Occipital, which has that nifty barcode scanning technology (used in foodscanner as well.) The application scans barcodes with ease and has recently come to my aid in purchasing books. After it scans, it pulls up results from Amazon, Google and other locations, letting you know where the cheapest place to purchase is. If you&#8217;re one of those people that like to compare prices while at the store, this might just be the perfect app for you! [$1.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=312720263&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>] </p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/photo13.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/photo13-200x200.jpg" alt="photo" title="photo" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13610" /></a></p>

<h3>Rene&#8217;s Pick: Canabalt</h3>

<p>Canabalt is a highly simplified, highly stylized &#8212; indeed pixelized &#8212; game where you race across rooftops, jump over obstacles, leap between buildings, crash through windows, avoid bombs and collapsing construction, and otherwise do everything you can just to keep running. If you hit something you slow down, if you don&#8217;t, you speed up, and if you mistime a jump, you fall, crash or get vaporized and the game is over. How far can <em>you</em> run? [$1.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=333180061&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/Screen-shot-2009-10-18-at-11.08.12-AM.png"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/Screen-shot-2009-10-18-at-11.08.12-AM-200x200.png" alt="Canabalt" title="Canabalt" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13612" /></a></p>

<p>So who&#8217;s on deck this week and what are our picks? Find out after the break!</p>

<p><span id="more-13154"></span></p>

<h3>Chad&#8217;s Pick: MyStarbucks</h3>

<p>This app rocks for several reasons including the ability to send invites to friends via email with store location info and more for meetings, etc. You can also create your own hot or cold beverage, save and share with your friends. A complete food list is accessible as well and if you are looking for coffee bean details, they can be found here too. [Free - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=331177714&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0446.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0446-200x200.PNG" alt="MyStarbucks" title="MyStarbucks" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13155" /></a></p>

<h3>Chris&#8217; Pick: Vconqr</h3>

<p>I am trying to find the perfect Risk-style game, and am currently trying out Vconqr. It has a nice interface, easy to play and simple graphics. It doesn&#8217;t have some of the customization options of the other games, but it is great for just a quick game of Ris&#8230;.er, Vconqr. Until they actually come out with Risk, this is a good compromise. [$3.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=290649401&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]
<a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/Screen-shot-2009-10-10-at-8.19.12-PM.png"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/Screen-shot-2009-10-10-at-8.19.12-PM-200x200.png" alt="Vconqr" title="Vconqr" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13158" /></a></p>

<h3>James&#8217; Pick: ESPN Radio</h3>

<p>I am a sports junkie. I can&#8217;t get enough of my Chicago teams. Anywhere I go, I usually listen to espnradio1000.com. Unfortunately for me, my work VPN blocks the radio stream. Now I can listen to ESPN no matter where I am. For fans of other cities, the app has streams of the main radio and other cities such as New York and Dallas. [$2.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=330029818&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0113.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0113-200x200.PNG" alt="ESPN Radio" title="ESPN Radio" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13159" /></a></p>

<p>Jeremy&#8217;s Pick: South Park Mega Millionaire </p>

<p>South Park Mega Millionaire let&#8217;s you help Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny as they skate their way through a series of challenges. Any true fan of South will appreciate this game a lot more than the previous attempt of South Park Imagination Land. [$2.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=327462898&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/photo9.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/photo9-200x200.jpg" alt="South Park Mega Millionaire" title="South Park Mega Millionaire" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13161" /></a></p>

<h3>Josh&#8217;s Pick: Tap Tap Revenge Classic</h3>

<p>Basically it&#8217;s like guitar hero or rockband on the iPhone. I play it every day, like a bad addiction &#8211; lol! 100s of songs to play, it never gets old with even classic hits such as Free Bird and Sweet Home Alabama from Lynard Skynard. [$0.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=284972147&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/Screen-shot-2009-10-10-at-8.24.05-PM.png"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/Screen-shot-2009-10-10-at-8.24.05-PM-200x200.png" alt="TapTap Revenge Classic" title="TapTap Revenge Classic" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13160" /></a></p>

<h3>Leanna&#8217;s Pick: Twitbit 2.0</h3>

<p>There are still only a handful of Twitter applications that offer push notification and with Twitbit&#8217;s new update, Twitbit 2.0 is the by far the best one. It has a clean UI, isn&#8217;t lacking in important features, and mentions and direct messages are quickly pushed with less than a 2 minute delay. I have a bit of a Twitter app addiction, but Twitbit is the only one that lives on my home page. [$2.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=322281538&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0829.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0829-200x200.PNG" alt="IMG_0829" title="IMG_0829" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13156" /></a></p>

<h3>Matt&#8217;s Pick: Photoshop.com Mobile</h3>

<p>I was begining to wonder when Adobe might hop on the iPhone app creation boat&#8230; This application allows you to edit your photos &#8211; from croping them to adding special effects to your photos. The application is quite powerful and incredibly easy to use. Within the app you can also register with <a href="http://www.photoshop.com/">Photoshop.com</a> and upload you pictures to their photo hosting service and share/edit/link your photos. (Includes 2GB for free!) On a side note, the online side of the service is really quite awesome and very intuitive. At its price, you can&#8217;t beat it. Download this one now! [Free - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=331975235&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>] </p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/image.png"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/image-200x200.jpg" alt="photoshop.com mobile" title="photoshop.com mobile" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13157" /></a></p>

<h3>Rene&#8217;s Pick: Ramp Champ</h3>

<p>Ramp Champ is co-developed by Iconfactory, so you know it&#8217;s pixel perfect. A skee-ball type casual, fun, time passer it&#8217;s perfect for the iPhone. Thanks to in-app purchase you can buy more ramps when &#8212; make that if &#8212; you get through the 4 for so that come with the app. I say if because, while the first challenge is easy, the second is hard, and I think I&#8217;ll need an <a href="http://comicbookresources.com/?page=user_review&#038;id=1462">Ambrose Chase</a>-style description field to get through the third. And did I mention it&#8217;s gorgeous as well? [$1.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=317284160&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/photo10.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/photo10-200x200.jpg" alt="Ramp Champ" title="Ramp Champ" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-13162" /></a></p>

As long as they&#8217;re iPhone (or iPod touch) related, they&#8217;re fair game.</p>

<p>So who&#8217;s on deck this week and what are our picks? Find out after the break!</p>

<p><span id="more-12612"></span></p>

<h3>Chad&#8217;s Pick: Blades of Fury</h3>

<p>If there is one game genre the iPhone is lacking in it has to be fighting games. Well, the wait is over folks, Blades of Fury is one awesome game. The best way to think of it is an amazing port of Soul Calibur; this game is really that good. The touch controls work surprisingly well and you can even play you own iPod music. What is it missing? Online multiplayer, but then again, so are many games <img src='http://www.theiphoneblog.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':-(' class='wp-smiley' /> If you like fighting games, especially using the weapons-based Soul Calibur fighting mechanic, you will love Blades of Fury! [$6.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=329976829&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0425.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0425-200x200.PNG" alt="Blades of Fury" title="Blades of Fury" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-12619" /></a></p>

<h3>Chris&#8217; Pick: PwnageTool 3.1.3.</h3>

<p>For people who have a iPhone 3Gs (like me), who has been waiting for jailbreak (like me), this is great news. While there is a PC version (yet? opinion seems to be varied as to their intent, or lack of intent, to release a new PC version of redsn0w), this is still a great step forward for those of us who have patiently been waiting for a jailbreak of 3.1. Jailbreakers can now start to experience some of the fun of the 3.1 update. [Free - <a href="http://blog.iphone-dev.org/post/202796266/all-aboard-the-update-train">Web link</a>]</p>

<h3>James&#8217; Pick: Newsstand</h3>

<p>In my eternal search for the perfect Google Reader app, I find myself loving Newsstand. Reliable sync of all of my feeds and the storge of offline images make this my go to app! [$4.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=288815275&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]
<a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0087.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0087-200x200.PNG" alt="Newsstand" title="Newsstand" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-12625" /></a></p>

<h3>Matt&#8217;s Pick: Mailbox Find</h3>

<p>Mailbox Find is an app that tells you were the closest mailbox for either USPS (or post offices), FedEx or even UPS. With my most recent job, I was asked to drop a letter in the mailbox. Not knowing the area real well, I was able to open the app and it gave me some of the closest mail boxes in the area. It kept me from spending too much time hunting for a mailbox in the area (or driving across the city to go to the one I actually knew of. If you want to search a certain zip code for mailboxes, you can also do that. [$0.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=308998933&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>] </p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0453.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/IMG_0453-200x200.PNG" alt="MailBox Find" title="MailBox Find" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-12614" /></a></p>

<h3>Rene&#8217;s Pick: RedLaser</h3>

<p>So I go to the book store with a friend, who sees many cute and wonderful and engaging books, and I see the full retail price quickly adding up in my brain like one of those old fashioned whirling cash registers. Luckily I had RedLaser&#8217;s barcode scanner and product finder on my iPhone, so I whipped it out, scanned away, and proceeded to add the books up in Amazon for quite a bit less. My friend saw how much less the total was, dumped the books back on the shelves, and everyone was happy (except for the book store, no doubt). Bottom line, I&#8217;ve been waiting for this on the iPhone ever since I saw the Android G1 show it off almost a year ago. And it works great. [$1.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=312720263&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/photo-4-1.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/10/photo-4-1-200x200.jpg" alt="RedLaser" title="RedLaser" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-12622" /></a></p>

<p>Every week a few of us from team TiPb, bloggers and forum crew alike, will bring you our current favorite, funnest, most useful App Store apps, WebApps, jailbreak apps, even the occasional accessory, web site, or desktop app if the mood strikes us. <p>So who&#8217;s on deck this week and what are our picks? Find out after the break!</p>

<p><span id="more-12377"></span></p>

<h3>Chad&#8217;s Pick: RunKeeper Pro</h3>

<p>Since picking up my Vibram FiveFingers shoes, I can&#8217;t use Nike+ so I needed a solid alternative. RunKeeper Pro really eliminates the need for anything else! It uses GPS to track your route, distance, speed, elevation and pace! You can create your own custom workouts and there is voice feedback too. When a workout is done, the information can be sent to their website and sent to Twitter or Facebook. I am very pleased with the product and the developer is promising new features! Checkout <a href="http://runkeeper.com">http://runkeeper.com</a>! [$9.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=300235330&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0399.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0399-200x200.PNG" alt="IMG_0399" title="IMG_0399" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-12379" /></a></p>

<h3>Chris&#8217; Pick: FanGraphs Baseball</h3>

<p>I am a big baseball fan, and a fan of math and stats &#8211; the two go hand in hand. Well, I recently saw a new baseball app put out by fangraphs. This cool little app gives you a graphical output of the win probability as the games are in progress, and adjusts it as events unfold. You can also see standard box scores, in-game events, and look up statistical information about any player in history (lots of cool stat,s including things like $ value and WAR). For any stats oriented baseball fan, I recommend taking a look at this! [$2.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=331036353&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/Screen-shot-2009-09-26-at-7.12.01-PM.png"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/Screen-shot-2009-09-26-at-7.12.01-PM-200x200.png" alt="FanGraphs Baseball" title="FanGraphs Baseball" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-12380" /></a></p>

<h3>Jeremy&#8217;s Pick: Army of Darkness Soundboard</h3>

<p>The Army of Darkness soundboard is a simple app but it is so damn cool for the hardcore Bruce Campbell fans out there. It&#8217;s just so &#8220;Groovy&#8221;&#8230; [Free - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=327968018&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/photo-23.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/photo-23-200x200.jpg" alt="Army of Darkness Soundboard" title="Army of Darkness Soundboard" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-12381" /></a></p>

<h3>Matt&#8217;s Pick: FoodScanner</h3>

<p>From the creators of the Daily Burn app &amp; Occipital&#8217;s RedLaser technology comes FoodScanner. If you have used DailyBurn before, then you should know that tracking the foods you eat can become tedious at times, especially when you can&#8217;t find just the right food to enter into your Food Log. FoodScanner simplifies the process by scanning the barcode on the food product. The barcode detection is incredibly accurate even for reflective surfaces. Highly recommended for anyone logging/tracking their food intake. Check out the <a href="http://forum.theiphoneblog.com/iphone-apps-games/178667-review-foodscanner.html">full review</a> for more. [$2.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=331140646&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>] </p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/p398857331-2.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/p398857331-2-200x200.jpg" alt="p398857331-2" title="p398857331-2" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-12378" /></a></p>

<h3>Rene&#8217;s Pick: NAVIGON MobileNavigator North America</h3>

<p>What a difference a year makes. Last year&#8217;s iPhone 3G and the debut App Store had no turn-by-turn navigation apps &#8212; the SDK didn&#8217;t even allow them! Now, with iPhone 3.x, as long as your BYOM (bring your own maps), turn-by-turn is good to go. And go it&#8217;s gone, with everyone from the biggest players in the game to upstart and open source contenders. But that makes choosing one <em>really</em> difficult. Based on <a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/author/chris-vitek/">Chris&#8217; reviews</a> so far, and on feature sets <em>delivered</em>, I decided to give NAVIGON MobileNavigator North America. And so far, so very good. Directions are precise, the text-to-speech for street names is understandable, and the app itself is highly usable. [$89.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=321506742&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/img_0316-266x400.png" alt="img_0316-266x400" title="img_0316-266x400" width="266" height="400" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-11911" /></p>

<p>So who&#8217;s on deck this week and what are our picks? Find out after the break!</p>

<p><span id="more-12053"></span></p>

<h3>James&#8217; Pick: Ringtones! (Jailbreak)</h3>

<p>If you are like me, the standard Apple ringtones just don&#8217;t cut it. I like to customize my ringer to a tone that only I will have. Ringtones allows you create a ringtones from any song that you have on your iPhone. While it is currently only limited to the start of the song, there are advanced features in the works. [Free - Requires Jailbreak]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0052.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0052-200x200.PNG" alt="IMG_0052" title="IMG_0052" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-12062" /></a></p>

<h3>Jeremy&#8217;s Pick: Dexter the Game</h3>

<p>Fans of the show absolutly need to purchase this game. Great graphics, great controls, great voice acting, original story, etc. It&#8217;s all there and it&#8217;s very polished. Buy it now.</p>

<p>[$5.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=327389727&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/photo21.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/photo21-200x200.jpg" alt="photo" title="photo" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-12060" /></a></p>

<h3>Leanna&#8217;s Pick: Echofon Pro</h3>

<p>I&#8217;m slightly addicted to Twitter apps and my new client of choice is Echofon Pro (formerly known as TwitterFon Pro). Echofon has a very intuitive interface, allows multiple accounts, and now supports push notification for mentions and direct messages. Firefox users can also sync unread messages over the air with Echofon for Firefox &#8211; very cool! I&#8217;m not really a fan of the new name, but I&#8217;m definitely a fan of the app! [$4.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=315577859&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/photo20.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/photo20-200x200.jpg" alt="photo" title="photo" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-12054" /></a></p>

<h3>Matt&#8217;s Pick: Geocaching</h3>

<p>Ahoy! thar scallywags! War&#8217;s my treasure? Me know tis&#8217; har somewhar! Okay so maybe not quite treasure hunting, but it&#8217;s second best &#8211; Geocaching. I had been a little wary of purchasing the app as it&#8217;s $9.99 but the 4.5/5 rating finally convinced me. It&#8217;s SO worth it! It nearly takes the fun out of of looking up all your caches before you go out, entering all the coordinates and attempting to go in order&#8230;. <img src='http://www.theiphoneblog.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> If you are a geocacher, then this is a MUST add to your Geocaching tools. The only thing I didn&#8217;t quite like, was using this app for Micros, you iPhone&#8217;s GPS doesn&#8217;t update that quickly while walking in circles, so it gets frustrating if there aren&#8217;t any hints. For those of you that have no idea what I am talking about, check out the Geocaching Intro app, it&#8217;s Free. [$9.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=292242503&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>] or [Free - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=329541503&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<h3>Rene&#8217;s Pick: BlackBerry VM-605 Bluetooth Premium Visor Handsfree</h3>

<p>Yes, I&#8217;m driving with the enemy. But I can&#8217;t help it. When the TiPb store added this, I said &#8212; hey! that&#8217;s for BlackBerrys! Dieter said &#8220;quiet youse!&#8221; and Kevin said &#8220;Try it, you&#8217;ll like it&#8221;. So I did, I did, and I do. It pumps both voice calls and &#8212; via built-in Stereo Bluetooth and FM transmitter &#8212; iPod audio from your iPhone to your car speakers, and it does so elegantly and excellently. Plus, the British lady voice that it speaks with? Classy. I&#8217;ll be doing a post on it soon, but don&#8217;t wait to check it out. Premium is right. Every week a few of us from team TiPb, bloggers and forum crew alike, will bring you our current favorite, funnest, most useful App Store apps, WebApps, jailbreak apps, even the occasional accessory, web site, or desktop app if the mood strikes us.

<p><span id="more-11594"></span></p>

<h3>Chad&#8217;s Pick: Chipotle</h3>

<p>The iPhone is revolutionary. Why? I just placed an order for a Chipotle Burrito on my iPhone! You can create an online account, give your order a name, pick a location and voila! The order interface is easy and clean. You can add multiple orders and pay wih your credit card all on your iPhone. Yummy! [Free - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=327228455&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0349.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0349-200x200.PNG" alt="Chipotle" title="Chipotle" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-11599" /></a></p>

<h3>Chris&#8217; Pick: Lion Pride</h3>

<p>I just downloaded and have been trying Lion Pride. This game is similar in some ways to games like Harbor Master and Flight Control &#8211; except you are a lion trying to eat your prey! You control a lion or lions, and try to hunt your prey &#8211; between stalking and outright chasing your food items, between different strategies for different prey, the game can be quite involving. The normal game is $.99, but if you want to try it first, there is a &#8220;lite&#8221; demo for free. [$0.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=319826394&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a></p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/Screen-shot-2009-09-12-at-6.36.24-PM.png"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/Screen-shot-2009-09-12-at-6.36.24-PM-200x200.png" alt="Lion Pride" title="Lion Pride" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-11597" /></a>
]</p>

<h3>James&#8217; Pick: iVillain Theme (Jailbreak)</h3>

<p>I tried not to. I really tried not to jailbreak. I was happy with my &#8220;stock&#8221; iPhone 3GS. Then I saw this theme&#8230;and I liked it. I could resist no more. If you have seen the HTC Sense UI, you will recognize it immediately as a &#8220;port&#8221; of the skin to the iPhone. It was easy to install and configure. There are also a few variations of the them included in the link. [Free - <a href="http://modmyi.com/forums/new-skins-themes-launches/669041-beta-release-ivillain.html">Web link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0009.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0009-200x200.PNG" alt="IMG_0009" title="IMG_0009" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-11598" /></a></p>

<h3>Jeremy&#8217;s Pick: Local Concerts</h3>

<p>Great free app for anyone who likes to be kept in the loop of local concerts. Too many times I find out one of my favorite bands played a live show after the fact, not anymore. Local Concerts pushes all new local live concerts directly to your iPhone. Can&#8217;t beat that for the price of&#8230;. [Free - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=315472348&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]
<a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/photo12.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/photo12-200x200.jpg" alt="photo" title="photo" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-11600" /></a></p>

<h3>Leanna&#8217;s Pick: Enigmo 2</h3>

<p>Enigmo was one of the first apps I purchased when the App Store was launched and I loved it. Now Pangea Software has recently released Enigmo 2 and it&#8217;s awesome. Instead of manipulating only droplets, you must also direct lazers and plasma with reflectors and gravity balls in 3-dimensional space. If you enjoyed playing the orignal Enigmo, I highly recommend picking up Enigmo 2. [$3.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=328580268&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0544.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0544-200x200.PNG" alt="Enigmo 2" title="Enigmo 2" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-11595" /></a></p>

<h3>Matt&#8217;s Pick: Otterbox Defender iPhone case</h3>

<p>I have been eyeing this case for quite some time &amp; finally I figure I &#8220;needed&#8221; it. The case is quite worth the price. It literally &#8220;seals&#8221; your iPhone inside so that no dirt can get inside, I&#8217;d definitely say it is spash-proof, but not waterproof. The only really exposed area is the speakers. I unintentionaly did a six foot drop &#8220;test&#8221; in the case and survived. The only issue I encountered was where &#8211; the overlay screen protector sticks to the iPhone screen creating a watermarked effect. It&#8217;s easily solved with an anti-glare screen protector (at least this is the one I used.) [$44.95 - <a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/otterbox-defender-series/4A123A4082.htm">TiPb Store link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0273.JPG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0273-200x200.jpg" alt="IMG_0273" title="IMG_0273" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-11596" /></a></p>

<h3>Rene&#8217;s Pick: iPhone 3.1 + iTunes 9</h3>

<p>Had. To. Be. Picked. (Especially after Leanna stole Enigmo 2 from me!) While on the surface iPhone 3.1 appears to contain&#8230; nothing on the surface, when you combine it with iTunes 9, all the much-needed bug fixes and feature fill-ins really start to shine &#8212; especially with things like in-iTunes app management, and Genius for Apps. Unless you&#8217;re jailbroken or desperate for a few early weeks of AT&amp;T MMS and tethering, get this update now. [Free - <a href="http://www.apple.com/iphone/softwareupdate/">Web link</a>]</p>

<p>So who&#8217;s on deck this week and what are our picks? Find out after the break!</p>

<p><span id="more-11050"></span></p>

<h3>Chad&#8217;s Pick: Modern Combat: Sandstorm</h3>

<p>The game is a FPS in the Middle-East theater. You play a marine who is sent on numerous missions to take-out the bad guys. The frame rate is smooth and there are a few different usable control options. This game has good AI with enemies hiding and using strategy to get you. There is a promised multiplayer mode coming soon, we can only hope that it is Internet-based play. If you are looking for a fresh FPS with good action, smooth frame rate and potentially awesome multiplayer, check out Modern Combat: Sandstorm. [$6.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=329373748&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/Screen-shot-2009-09-06-at-9.22.37-AM.png"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/Screen-shot-2009-09-06-at-9.22.37-AM-200x200.png" alt="Modern Combat" title="Modern Combat" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-11051" /></a></p>

<h3>James&#8217; Pick: MyFantasyTeams Pro</h3>

<p>I can&#8217;t remember when I started, but I love Fantasy Football. I am in a few leagues with friends and coworkers alike. And as I have said before, I am forgetful. Therefore, setting my roster can be a pain if I am not in front of a computer. MyFantasyTeams Pro is an app I have been looking for. It is compatible with all Yahoo fantasy teams and allows you to perform all of the tasks needed to make sure your fantasy team is ready for the week. You can submit lineup changes, add/drop players and even trade players from within the app. A must for all Yahoo fantasy addicts. [$3.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=305046757&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0436.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0436-200x200.PNG" alt="IMG_0436" title="IMG_0436" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-11054" /></a></p>

<h3>Leanna&#8217;s Pick: DSLR Camera Remote Professional Edition</h3>

<p>Use your iPhone as a remote for your Canon or Nikon DSLR with DSLR Camera Remote Pro. Not only does it act as a shutter release, but you can adjust settings like shutter speed, aperture, white balance and even bracketing, rapid fire, and self timer. Get instant previews of photos you take and for supported cameras, you can see through your camera&#8217;s viewfinder with LiveView. Although this only works over wifi, DSLR Camera Remote Pro is an awesome app and well worth the price. [$19.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=316771002&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0470.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0470-200x200.PNG" alt="IMG_0470" title="IMG_0470" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-11053" /></a></p>

<h3>Matt&#8217;s Pick: Quick Voice Pro</h3>

<p>Quick Voice Pro is similar to voice-memo type applications, but with one major advantage &#8211; it allows you to convert your voice memo to text via e-mail, of course the recording has to be 30 seconds or less. I, however, found that I could get a lot of information in that amount of time &amp; the conversion is scary accurate. The memos take about 5-15mins to convert depending on length. This is recommend for anyone on the go. [$0.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=285877935&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0231.PNG"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/IMG_0231-200x200.PNG" alt="Quick Voice Pro" title="Quick Voice Pro" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-11052" /></a></p>

<h3>Rene&#8217;s Pick: Mophie Juice Pack Air</h3>

<p>So we just got the Mophie Juice Pack Air in stock, and I&#8217;ll be writing it up soon enough, but yesterday I was outside helping a friend build a fence, took some video, stuck my iPhone back in my pocket, and later felt it getting really hot. Yup, I&#8217;d forgotten to turn the video off, so there it was recording away &#8212; in my pocket &#8212; battery gasping and begging for mercy. Normally I&#8217;d have to go find a plug and be without my iPhone for a while, but since I just happened to have the Mophie with me, I slapped it on, and was good to go for the rest of the day. (Just make sure you&#8217;re on firmware 3.0.1 as it fixed some issues with battery chargers). [$79.99 - <a href="http://store.theiphoneblog.com/mophie-juice-pack-air/8A37A5566.htm">TiPb Store link</a>]</p>

<p><a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/5566.jpg"><img src="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/images/stories/2009/09/5566-200x200.jpg" alt="Mophie Juice Pack Air" title="Mophie Juice Pack Air" width="200" height="200" class="aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-11017" /></a></p>

<h3>Chad&#8217;s Pick: Alive 4-ever</h3>

<p>Alive 4-ever is the latest zombie erradication game for the iPhone! You can choose between different characters, level them up and buy equiment and weapons. The game borrow heavily from iDracula, but really takes it to another level with its customization options. If you love blowing away zombies with added depth and customizations, check out Alive 4-ever! <h3>Chris&#8217; Pick: TapDefense</h3>

<p>This tower defender game is entertaining and FREE! Try to prevent various demons and other underworld minions from entering Heavan with well placed archer towers, canon towers, and more! With a variety of game boards, modes, and goals you can mix and match to create a wide array of game options. It is add supported (and includes two new towers that you can only get my &#8220;filling out a offer&#8221;) but even on the basic level it is still good for passing the time. <h3>Jeremy&#8217;s Pick: UFC</h3>

<p>Not home to watch the fights? The UFC app has you covered &#8212; stream live events directly from your iPhone via 3G or WiFi. (Normal ppv fee does apply) &#8211; [$0.99 - <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=325572765&#038;mt=8">iTunes link</a>]</p>

<h3>Justin&#8217;s Pick: Facebook 3.0</h3>

<p>I&#8217;m not that big of a Facebook user as Twitter consumes most of my social networking time. I think I use Twitter more because I really love social networking &#8220;on the go&#8221; vs sitting in front of my computer and the pre 3.0 app version was pretty awful. Before this version my main interaction with Facebook was via selective Twitter updates, but now the Facebook app is fun to use again and will pull some time away from Twitter. <h3>Leanna&#8217;s Pick: Facebook 3.0</h3>

<p>As you probably know, Facebook for iPhone got a huge update this week. Finally, I can visit Facebook on my iPhone without any feelings of anger! Notifications are no longer a disaster and it&#8217;s just a quick tap to &#8220;like&#8221; a post. For the past couple months, my Facebook usage (both on iPhone and computer) has gone down, but with Facebook 3.0, I&#8217;m back in business! <h3>Rene&#8217;s Pick #1: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard</h3>

<p>Had. To. Be. Picked. No, not because it&#8217;s refined or enhanced, but simply because with Snow Leopard Apple Shows that, as much as OS X helped make the iPhone (and iPod touch) OS, all the work that&#8217;s gone into optimization and UI for the iPhone is being brought back to the Mac as well. Win. Win. From the compressed files that take up less space, to QuickTime X and its trim and share features, to ActiveSync support for Exchange, the iPhone&#8217;s tiny footprints are all over this big cat and gosh darnit, that just makes us proud. <h3>Rene&#8217;s Pick #2: Brushes 2.0</h3>

<p>The original Brushes, a finger-painting wonder for the iPhone and iPod touch, gained attention when it was used to make the cover for the <a href="http://www.theiphoneblog.com/2009/05/25/artist-paints-cover-yorker-magazine-iphone/">New Yorker</a>. Deservedly so. Brushes 2.0, however, says &#8220;meh!&#8221; at it&#8217;s predecessor and ups the finger-painting ante with layers, a better brush panel, and more powerful zoom. If you want to let your inner iPhone artist out, give this a whirl. Or a dap. Or any stroke you feel like!
